Day 350: Methinks the lady doth protest too much

Their braces glinting
Precocious pre-teens gossip
About who has crabs

Kids grow up so fast.

These boys and girls were in vociferous agreement that a female classmate (not present) has crabs. Their reason? The poor girl got really upset when this group told the entire middle school that she has crabs. A sure sign of guilt.

  1. It is an ironic "like." I am constantly amazed at how awful kids can be toward one another.

  2. I agree with Erik. And some adults never lost the ability to be awful to one another!

  3. I know. I try to remind myself that for every knot of horrible kids (like this one) there is a jaded-looking young man offering his seat to a young mother or a teenage girl giving half her lunch to a homeless man, but sometimes it's hard to keep that in mind.
